All Known Members From Gol D. Roger’s Crew

The Roger Pirates were the crew of the late Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, and were the only crew to ever reach Raftel, the end of the New World in the Grand Line. They encountered Vice Admiral Garp on several occasions  and were strong rivals to the Whitebeard Pirates.

This was the crew that traveled around the Grand Line together and the things they did were part of legends. They made it as far as Skypiea and the end of the Grand Line, Raftel, on their ship the Oro Jackson. Roger was one of the most famous figures of his day, while the name of their first mate, Silvers Rayleigh, is widely known and famed as well.

However, only the captain and the first mate seem to have been remembered while the rest of the crew have apparently faded out of memory, all save those still active like Shanks and Buggy. The first introduction to their crew comes from Buggy, who recalls his days with Shanks as a cabin boy in their crew.Their captain, Roger, is the first character introduced in the series.

Crew Strength

The crew has been referred to as the strongest crew ever to sail the Grand Line and the New World. The few members that have been seen are amongst the most powerful pirates in the current storyline, with Rayleigh being referred to as being 100 times stronger than the eleven super rookies and able to fight Admiral Kizaru to a stalemate, despite being an old man. Shanks, over the decades, has established a reputation and obtained power, becoming one of the four powerful pirates known as the Yonko. Both he and Rayleigh display powerful Haki abilities. Crocus did not display this, though it is not known whether or not he possesses the ability. However, he was not a member of the original crew; he was taken in to keep Roger alive on their final journey. Despite not being an original member of the crew, however, he did display some strength as an old man, stopping bazooka blasts with his own body. Buggy appears to lack this ability, indicating that even on their crew there was a strength divide. However, even Buggy has attained the status Shichibukai after the timeskip, albeit by exploiting his former crewmates' reputations. Kozuki Oden, a member of the Kozuki Family, was also a member of the crew and like his captain, was one of the few people known to possessed the ability to read Poneglyphs. As a result, the crew has not one but two people potentially capable of locating and reviving the Ancient Weapons as a result of their ability to read Poneglyphs. Upon arriving on Zou, the crew was accompanied by the two powerful Mink rulers, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi, who have been shown to fight on par with Jack of the Beasts Pirates, who holds a 1,000,000,000 bounty.

Roger Pirates remains the only Pirate crew who has conquered the Grand Line. We don’t have any idea of their strength and we have very limited information about them. So, today I have made a list of all the known members of this crew

10. Rayleigh-

Rayleigh is one of the strongest known characters in the series. He can use all three types of Haki. He was the right-hand man of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. Despite being old, his strong is almost unmatched.

9. Shanks-

Shanks was just cabin boy on Roger’s crew. He grew up to become one of the four Yonkō. He has a devastating Conqueror’s haki. Shanks isn’t afraid of battling anyone.

8. Buggy-

Buggy was an apprentice just like Shanks. He acquired his devil fruit powers by mistake when Shanks caught him planning on the ship. Buggy has the power of the Bara Bara no Mi.

7. Crocus-

Crocus was the doctor of the Roger Pirates. He was able to prevent Roger’s death for an extended period of time, which makes him an exemplary doctor. However, after conquering the Grand Line, he docked at Twin Cape.

6. Scopper Gaban-

Scopper Gaban is a member of the Roger Pirates, who was seen in the flashback of Buggy. We don’t know how powerful Scopper Gaban really is, but considering he was a member of the Roger Pirates, he must have been powerful.

5. Seagull-

Seagull is mysterious character, who we are yet to see properly in the series. He was shown in the flashback when Roger fought Shiki in the Edd War. So far we don’t know anything about his abilities.

4. Kozuki Oden-

Kozuki Oden was from the Wano Country. He joined Gol D. Roger on his journey to conquer the Grand Line. Oden was able to read the Poneglyphs and he could also hear the voice of all things. He was killed by Kaidō.

3. Inuarashi-

Inuarashi is one of the two Dukes of Zou. He wields a sword and can also use electro like the rest of the Minks. Inuarashi was able to stand up to one of the three disasters of Kaidō, namely, Jack The Drought.

2. Nekomamushi

Nekomamushi is the second Duke of Zou. He is also known as Cat Viper. Nekomamushi is very quick despite his size. He was labelled as a monster by Capone Bege, who is a member of the Worst Generation.

1. Gol D. Roger

Gol D. Roger was the leader of the Roger Pirates. During his lifetime, he did the unthinkably. He conquered the Grand Line. Roger was able to find the last island, Raftel. After finding Raftel, he also found the greatest treasure in the world, the One Piece. He is considered to be the strongest person during his lifetime.
